Team lead on FloSports' Platform Web App team. High priority on building out large, scalable features to make the UI/UX better for the company's rapidly growing number of users. Using an Angular2+ framework (RxJS and TypeScript) along with live streaming/stats via Firebase and API development in NestJS and PHP.

Team lead on the Revenue Development team, responsible for handling signups, payments, optimization of the payment funnel, A/B testing, analytics and more. Focused on increasing customer acquisition and LTV through constant experimentation.

FloSports provides live streaming of numerous events, including wrestling, track, grappling and even marching band. Working both front-end and back-end as part of the "revenue development" pod to build out a brand-new platform. Skills required include Angular2+ (with Typescript/JavaScript), PHP, MySQL, and analytics/experimentation tools like Segment, Kissmetrics and Optimizely.

Ninbitsu works with Meretz on an app that transforms your physical activity into virtual currency. Worked in the startup environment with a virtual team using Git and Vagrant VMs. Developed an end-to-end, fully reactive user profile feature. Used MySQL with automated schema updates, Python 3 with a Django RESTful API server, and ReactJS for the front-end web application.

Austin Coding Academy offers students a chance to learn web development in night classes. The advanced class took place from February-April 2016. Created “Breddit” (a better Reddit) using Laravel and Eloquent for RESTful API endpoints and Backbone.js for JSON API consumption. This was the first true “full-stack” experience as a student, learning how to create modern, sleek, quick-loading SPAs.

Worked remotely as statistical analyst and researcher with several coworkers across the country. Created spreadsheets across all sports, working with statistical models produced by advanced analysts using the R programming language and R Studio. Conducted innovative research into teams, coaches and odds.

BeyondtheBets.com was a sports information website that amassed more than 30,000 Twitter followers and 500,000 page views per month. Lead writer and co-creator covering the sports betting industry both offshore and in Las Vegas. Generated story ideas, constructed and published posts, and cultivated an online community through message boards and social media.

In Austin, RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities) exists to engage and develop inner-city youth athletically, academically and spiritually, empowering them to lead the transformation of their communities. Started as a coach of an 7-and-under team in 2014 and continued with the same kids until they were turning 11.
