I am a Computer Science major at the Missouri University of Science and Technology. I also work for IT Research Support Solutions at the University, which means I work on a variety of tasks ranging from Linux Engineering and Administration, Software Development, and helping users with all their Linux support needs. I'm a big fan of open source software, and when it's available, I try to use it over closed source alternatives. In my free time, I enjoy going on walks in nature, and setting up various services on my servers at home.

    • IT Research Support Solutions is a division of Missouri S&T’s IT department devoted to allowing researchers to go faster further, using services ranging from our HPC Cluster to drones (itrss.mst.edu).
    • As a Student IT Assistant, I configure new workstation class computers for our customers, and provide support for our Linux users on both desktops and our cluster.
    • Increase efficiency of user data backup process through scripting repetitive tasks.
    • Improve customer experience through creating new documentation and improving existing documentation.
    • Improve user experience of MinerBytes product by testing the software and reporting bugs to maintainers.
